The Systems We Rely On

Humans are all connected and have never and will never exist completely apart from each other. We depend on invisible systems set up by other humans, so it’s in our best interest to get to know the systems we rely on. Our food production system is both global and local. Here in Oregon there exists a small olive oil mill called Durant which uses olives grown on the premises. Durant is worth a visit, but call ahead to see if they are open!
